Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Elisa and I are enjoying a crisp Christmas day in New Jersey with her family. After brunch, we watched the six grandkids open their presents; each gift, in their eyes. more thrilling than the next.
We went on a six-mile run this afternoon and are spending the evening indulging in ALL the holiday cheer.
Our favorite part of the day so far has been watching the kids. We were tickled at how many times we heard, “Thank you soooo much! This is exactly what I wanted!” from one particularly earnest and grateful little boy. Even the boxes filled with clothes garnered as much excitement.
Clearly, he’s a master of manifesting;)
I leave you with this: Use this wonderful time of year to capture the innocence. We must all remember to remain in awe of the world around us: nature, the incredible human spirit, love. Watch the kids. I mean, really watch them. We have so much to learn from the wise little ones;)
