one woman's quest to live the life she's imagined all while daring you to do the same

A Man Who Stands for Maxi Pads!

The Indian Sanitary Pad Revolution (full BBC article)

Arunachalam Muruganantham is an innovator. A big thinker. And dreamer.

Whereas I don’t typically post full articles on TYOMD,  this piece called for a welcomed exception.

He lost his wife, his mom, and was even ostracized from his town in pursuit of his passions. Never fear, Muruganantham came out on top. His hero’s journey is honorable, endearing and even a little humorous.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, why not celebrate periods all over the world. Especially in areas where menstruation remains taboo and women suffer from unsanitary means to manage their cycle.

Big ups to men like Muruganantham who want the world, not only for the women in their lives, but for women all over the world!

Happy International Women’s Day!

I leave you with this: Even if you don’t have time right now, bookmark the above article … here at TYOMD, we have a lot to learn from dreamers like Muruganantham;) Rock on, brother!

#Onward

Much Love,

kat
