Meet my new pal, George!
I nearly tackled him after a Toastmasters meeting following his endearing speech about overcoming his stutter. It was actually a really jumbled and awkward exchange (on my part rather), which, in fact, I wish we had on film to emphasize the point that, clearly, we’ve both come a long way;)
I leave you with this: Think back to something that you were initially terrified of, but once you went through with it you realized it wasn’t all that bad (first kiss, a big interview, zumba class, anything). Now, looking forward, how might that change your perspective from something that’s holding you back in the present? Is there a way to chunk it down, like George described?
