Poncho the Navigator: Our journey together has ended

ubud, bali

It is with great regret that I bring you the news that our main travel pal, Poncho the Navigator, is no longer with us. I am ashamed to say that I left him on a rock at the beach where he had his last photo shoot.

I didn’t realize my tragic absent mindedness until we were two miles down the opposite side of our hike, and it would have taken four miles there and back to retrieve him. Instead, we chose to gift him to whomever finds our great guide in hopes that he will become their brand new badass travel companion.

Poncho has been with us to Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand, Bali-Indonesia, South Africa, Nepal, and all over the US.

It’s been a great ride, brother. I hope many more adventures are in store for you!

I leave you with this: If a $7 owl/penguin made in Africa, bought in Hampden, Baltimore can bring you joy. Let it. Why not?

It’s the little things. It’s always the little things.

Much Love,

I’m sure he’s already been rescued. Or he has rescued a new set of friends. We are now in search of a new travel pal. Hopefully he/she will be just as awesome;)
