I first saw this vid on Purpose Fairy and since I’m a sucker for all reminders to live life sans excuses, I also borrowed it from Sister O.
I had a great talk with a client today about comparison. You know the one, the one that eats you alive and spits out the remnants of joy. Yup, that’s it.
This week there was a great lesson in A Course in Miracles on comparison. Pardon the poor attempt at paraphrasing, but it’s late and that book’s way too heavy to lug out at this hour just to get the words right.
It went something like this: We are all the same, so no need for comparison.
If he wins, you win. If she’s got better hair, well thank goodness you hang out with her because her hair just might rub off on you.

I think Chris has a great message here:
“Some people are ashamed of their freckles, some people are ashamed of that spare tire around their waste, they have big ears or a big nose, or whatever. If you’re worried about how you look I think you’re cheating yourself out of opportunities.”
I couldn’t agree more.
Rock on, Chris.
I leave you with this: Love the skin your in!
