Just a few blocks over is Crazy Town; I know it like the back of my hand.
Truthfully, visits always seem to conjure some almost romantic nostalgia.
I pop in every once in a while, accidentally–old habit walking that route.
Until it hits me like a rogue wave that I have a new hangout–where excuses die hard and love conquers all fear.
And that’s right here on this corner. Sure, it reeks of vulnerability, determination and accountability. But I’m in damn good company, I remind myself.
And the coolest part is … it’s open invitation. Come whenever, and stay as long as you want. The only trick is that you gotta get out of Crazy Town.
It’s tough; I know. The parties are all-nighters and it seems like all the cool kids are there. Plus, the traffic getting in and out is always insane.
But once you’re out, Crazy Town looks more like Foolsville–an awful lot of trouble for far too little trade.
I leave you with this: Check out this spot. Stay a while. This is where the magic happens;)
