one woman's quest to live the life she's imagined all while daring you to do the same

Poetry Saved My Life

Poetry saved my life,” she said.

This is such a great glimpse of taking back our power. Healing wounds through words and gifting our triumphs to those who have yet to find their voice.

Imani Mcgee Stafford speaks my language. I may never know personally her torment, but suffering is universal. As is surmounting the odds.

There are only so many emotions in the rainbow and only so many successes. That’s why when we walk in your shoes, we get you. When you know your struggle, we see ours more clearly.

“I’ve always been a story waiting to be told, a survivor waiting to be a hero.”

I leave you with this: Share your truth.

Much Love,
