Amen to follow through, to working on one subject a week, to finding the why, to reaching break through, and being hungry.
I was listening to another sermon today, this one from Seth Godin. He was using a marathon as an analogy. He said, and I’m paraphrasing, you don’t run a marathon hoping to beat out tired. Tired is inevitable. It’s what we do with the tired that gets us through the race.
Insert fear. We don’t create art expecting to out run fear. We embrace it; we learn from it; we are better because of it. At least that’s the idea.
