one woman's quest to live the life she's imagined all while daring you to do the same

Fallen Soldier: Let go of your personal history

I’m working on this piece for The Moth’s main stage. It was kinda awkward at Toastmasters because I was working on my CC8 which is the visual aid speech; I stretched it;) Anybody need a tarot deck I bought for a prop? 😉

This is actually an excerpt from my book I Think I’ll Make It. One of the many amazing experiences I had while living on Hawaii that added up to a whole lotta transformation, fo sho!

Side note: I shaved off a minute or so of the story the day of and messed up my transitions. You may notice a 5-second oh shit moment. The panic is awful, but it’s a total breathe through opportunity. Inhale. Exhale. Tap back into flow.

I leave you with this: What did you used to fear before you began? What did it teach you?

#Onward

Much Love,

kat
